Nostalgia - and the memmories start hitting you

So today was nostalgia - not that great an event. Still it provokes the question - 4 years in IITK are going to finish. So how do you feel?

There are thoughts. Many of them. But some of them are special. Some more than others. I was chatting with yashm about this which is what triggered thoughts in this direction. So the thoughts start - lets start to put them down

1) Inter IIT Aquatics Meet 2005 in Roorkee. (When patience pays off). It was a definate milestone in my life. To be no-one(having been thrashed so many times). The first match when we finally humiliated IIT Delhi(after being called a practice match & a walk-over 2 years ago) 14-0, anhiliated Bombay ( a pretty good team 13-2) and beat KGp 5-0 in the semi on 2nd OCt 2005. This was a special day. The spirit of the team was evident from things like when I was thrown into the pool in Roorkee (with clothes on), sitting on the white house playing dumbc, etc - it was an amazing trip which was consummated with a celebration at the pool where everyone was thrown into the water with their clothes on. 2) Winning touch rugby in Josh 2005. To win 6 matches in a row when the quality of teams got better from round to round. Winning in the final on a golden goal by 68, when I scored the equalizer after we were down 1-0 in the first half. Match will be remembered for the blunder by Prasoon for the first goal, the way we equalized to 2-2, and to win in golden goal with 1 min to go b4 penalties when everyone was dead exhausted.
3) Beating Mehra's team in baskey, and taxi's team in mixed baskey with strong performances in the last 5 min of the game after trailing for most periods of the game
4) Tennis - Inter Year (1st year, doubles 4th year) - Playing with very weak teams, reaching the finals in 1st year, semis in final year
5) The ups & downs of B-Club/stock club - from having an audience of 10 people (mostly from my wing) in 2nd year stock club lectures, to 250 people filling L-1& at least 50 people sitting outside waiting to get a seat.
6) Getting a job in Lehman Brothers after not getting shortlisted
7)Chapofying Con-Corps - the software engineering project, and Lucent (accounts project)
8) The fuss people made after I got 6 calls in IIMs after studying for 5 days.
9)UMats antics on a summer night when things happened after dash pushed him on mathew's
bed
10) Mathew & I demolishing every one in markstrat & then in chanakya. As a team in biz stratergy games we ROCK
11) Organizing Olympus inspite of opposition from a lot of people in the HEC
